Winery description

    It is a family business specialised in the production of Albariño wines of the highest quality and with a significant degree of differentiation, the origin of the grapes and the way of making the wine being very marked.

    For more than 100 years, they have produced wines and spirits in a traditional way with exceptional and highly recognised results, obtaining numerous awards and distinctions.

    In 2007, they inaugurated the new winery equipped with the latest generation technology, which allows them to extract the maximum potential from their grapes, thus creating a special and unique wine.

    The highest quality stainless steel tanks, pneumatic press, stabilisation equipment, etc. all give an idea of ​​the quality of the material with which they work in the winery.

    The winery cultivates the vineyard in the most respectful way possible. They use contact and penetrating fungicides. They do not use mineral fertilisers, fertilising with natural limestones, organic horse fertilisers, humus, etc. They work the land and respect the flora and fauna beneficial to the vineyard.

    Regarding the harvest, they continue to do it manually, selecting the grapes in the vineyard itself, controlling the quality at origin, always looking for the highest quality of them and picking only those that are in the correct ripeness desired. They have a production of 40,000 bottles / year.

    In this winery they make fine and elegant albariños that perfectly reflect their place of origin. Some wines that are far from the classic Galician Albariños. Its fundamental difference lies in the selection of grapes and the pressing, using only the first must which is obtained or "flower must" in the second wine.
