O Perello Winery

O Perello Winery is a small company that faces the challenge of giving continuity to the family tradition of Ramón Padín Chaves, known as “O Perello” because he liked to party (hence the name of the winery), dedicated to the production of Albariño wine.

Ramiro, his son, is the current owner, since 1987, following the winemaking tradition.

The winery’s philosophy is to continue making wine in a traditional way, combining with the help of new techniques, with the sole objective of improving the quality of the product.

100% of the grapes with which the wine is made are harvested in its own vineyards.

They have a production of 7000 to 8000 litres per year although the winery has the capacity to hold up to 27000 litres.

In this winery they have an old vine dating back to 1929.

O Perello Albariño

It is a greenish straw yellow coloured wine. With a clean and subtle aroma of spring and fresh fruit.

With an alcoholic graduation of 13%.

It is an ideal wine to drink with seafood, fish, white meat, rice and fresh cheeses.

O Perello Caíño

It is a cherry coloured wine, almost ruby ​​red, with slow and thick tears.

It is made with 100% Caiño red grapes from D.O. Rías Baixas.

With an alcoholic graduation of 12%.
