Bioca Winery

Bioca winery dates back to 1954 when María Teresa’s father produced wine.

However, after 40 years of activity, the lack of generational change led to the abandonment of the winery.

It was in 2000 when María Teresa and her husband Celestino decided to return to her roots and settle in the area.

Bioca winery belongs to the Valdeorras Denomination of Origin.

They have 6 hectares of vineyards that are located on the left bank of the River Sil.

Their modern facilities have a capacity of about 30,000 litres.
