Eulogio Gondar's winery continues to grow. His name is spreading throughout the world and his philosophy reaching other lands facing this path without any shortcut and fleeing from ephemeral fashions. A well defined identity.
Their wines come from grapes from their own vineyards where they try to obtain a product which respects the natural environment, the characteristics of the terrain, climate and altitude, as well as the cultivation and production techniques that follow, making their wines original, elegant, subtle and full of nuances.
Lagar de Candes winery is a family business based on the experience that comes from being the fourth generation of winemakers, taking over the winery for almost two decades (in 2003), following in the footsteps of their ancestors.
Their philosophy is to carefully monitor the vineyards and the selection of the grapes, from where they work to achieve the highest possible quality for the production of their wines, which they make with 100% Albariño grapes from the Salnés Valley. Its harvest is completely manual with the utmost care so that the grape reaches the winery in the best possible quality conditions, taking care of the raw material that is the grape from the beginning.
Its elaboration is of an artisan character, and that unites tradition with more modern techniques, with the sole purpose of helping to elevate this wine, its cradle and its people on the threshold of the D.O Rías Baixas.
