Winery description

This winery was founded in 1989, and although he started as an adviser of Signature Wines, Francisco Dovalo López (called Paco) had already spent a lifetime making homemade wine that he inherited from his ancestors. The winery is located in a peasant house built in 1834.

They have belonged to the D.O Rías Baixas for about 25 years, exactly since 1994.

They have a production of 16,000 litres of wine per year.

This wine is characterised because it is made very slowly in a very artisan way (as was done in the past). For this reason, Rubén (Paco's son) does not add yeasts (so as not to ripen them before), since it is very important for him to respect the rhythm of the process of each wine.

The winery has old vines of Albariño which are more than 150 years old that were the mothers of all its plantations. Near the winery building, he has a vine that is 1 metre in diameter.

    You can visit its vineyards.
